We have learned that the best innovations start with a good idea against a clear platform, but succeed because they're built into innovations that delight consumers, while making more money for you and your customers – it's a real balancing act and many innovations fail because they don't deliver value to all parties. We've found that we're much more likely to achieve this if we start with a building not a culling mentality. When we are confident that we've got a strong consumer idea, we will find a way to make it work.
